Ingredients

Steps

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. 2

In a bowl, combine olive oil, Knorr's chicken flavoring, Lawry's seasoned pepper, parsley flakes, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, dried thyme, and black pepper.

  3. 3

Mix the seasonings into the olive oil and coat the chicken thighs well with this mixture.

  4. 4

Place the chicken thighs skin side down in a cast iron skillet or a lined sheet pan.

  5. 5

Cook the chicken in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.

  6. 6

While the chicken is baking, prepare the rice: In a pot, combine hot chicken broth, water, chopped onion, butter, black pepper, and Knorr's chicken seasoning. Add paprika for color and mix well.

  7. 7

Cover the pot with aluminum foil and place it in the oven alongside the chicken.

  8. 8

In a separate skillet, melt 1-2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, seasoning with black pepper and salt. Cook until mushrooms are tender.

  9. 9

After 45 minutes, flip the chicken thighs over and return them to the oven to brown the skin.

  10. 10

Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and mix in the mushroom mixture.
