    Dice the yellow onion into small pieces.

    Dice the poblano pepper, removing the seeds.

    Dice the jalapeno pepper, removing the seeds (optional).

    Slice the habanero pepper in half and remove the seeds (optional).

    In the Instant Pot, add 2 tablespoons of salted butter and 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, then set to sauté mode.

    Once the butter is melted and the oil is sizzling, add the diced onion, poblano, and jalapeno peppers. Stir to coat with butter.

    Add the habanero pepper and sauté for about 5 minutes until the onions are translucent and the peppers are softened.
